ONE FOR YOU, TWO FOR ME

Besides being B'DAY, it is also another very important HI-STYLE holiday - National Eat An Extra Dessert Day. No meal is complete without a sweet treat to finish - and if one dessert is delicious, then two are divine.

Today's extra dessert comes to you from Ramekin in Los Feliz. This little sweet shop has all my favorites - berry cobbler, s'mores, tarts, cookies - as well as some hard-to-find combos like fig & goat cheese tarts, homemade twinkies, and sometimes a Churro Borough pop-up! And of course, ice cream. The atmosphere is fun but chic, with clean lines and games to play while you snack.

On this occasion, we went with the brownie a la mode (just to start).

For seconds, two scoops of their incredible handmade ice cream - black sesame and goat cheese. Happy campers all around.
